Co-op Volunteer Opportunities

Urban Earth is looking to be an active and enriching member of the community, fostering a working relationship with the greater neighborhood in order to encourage beautification and urban renewal. As a commercial business, we also see an opportunity to connect the areas gardening experts with community groups and organizations who are looking for assistance with gardening and beautification efforts.

MEMBER LOANS
We could sure use some more Member Loans. We are rapidly spending our plant budgets for the next few months. If we could raise some more money from members, we could increase our inventory for sale over the next few months. Contact Rick Krolak (rkrolak@clariongroup.net) with questions.

EVERYDAY AND SPECIAL PROJECTS
It is a lot of work to maintain the building, plants and business -- we are establishing a regular schedule for volunteers. If you have time to commit each week or every other week, let us know. One-time help is also appreciated!! Handyman? We really need help with carpentry, plumbing and electricity. Gardener? We need help with planting, watering, weeding, prepping plants. Plant Expert? We need knowledgeable people to help in store on weekends to answer customer questions. Writing skills and light computer skills? We need help to maintain our website and newsletter, and with bookkeeping chores (QuickBooks). Call Jane at at 612-827-1754 to discuss where your talents can best be used!
